Our story
Neem Galli takes its name from a narrow path leading to an ancestral home in Morinda, Punjab—a place where art existed quietly, without validation, yet with deep conviction. That inheritance continues to shape the ethos of the platform.
Founded by Deepika Rai, a researcher in literature and gender studies, and Rishi Rai, a designer working across technology and visual systems, Neem Galli emerges from both lived artistic practice and critical understanding. Their father, Sh. Shiv Sharan Dass, an artist himself, remains the silent influence behind this continuity.
This is not a brand built around trend—it is built around memory, material, and persistence.

Deepika Rai
Deepika is a PhD in English Literature and a passionate self-taught artist who has showcased her work alongside her brother, Rishi. With a deep love for teaching, she’s dedicated to using art to inspire and uplift others, especially marginalized children. She brings a unique blend of academic expertise and artistic vision to Neem Galli, ensuring that the business remains rooted in creativity and compassion. Like Rishi, she believes in the transformative power of art to connect and inspire people, and is committed to building a community that nurtures artists of all backgrounds.
Rishi Rai
Rishi is a self-taught artist, tech expert, and renowned graphic designer. He’s well-versed in product design and 3D printing, and many of the products he’s created for artists are available on Neem Galli. As a graphic designer working with brands worldwide, Rishi blends his love for technology with his passion for art, creating innovative tools and products for the creative community. His dedication to Neem Galli is rooted in the belief that every artist should have access to the best materials, and his vision is to continue inspiring and supporting artists through technology and creativity.
